    Lance Hooks

I was frustrated with trolling so I pulled blades (crawler harnesses) to see if the walleye preferred blades over crank baits.  Same story. Fish stacked in 25 to 35 FOW. Every pass I was ready for every rod to go off, there were SO many fish. AGAIN there was no wind.  Maybe the wind would turn these fish on.  Caught 7 walleye (4 keepers over 14”) 3 short walleye, 8 catfish, 4 white bass, 2 Kentucky bass, 3 drum. Orange blade with orange and yellow beads was the clear choice for walleyes today. 2 oz bottom bouncer, 25 FOW, 1.0 mph.
