I took a new member trolling this morning. Sky was blue, wind was calm. UGH!. Fish were scattered and spooky. VERY slow first couple hours. It was almost slick calm. Bite picked up substantially after 8:30am.  The white bass were fun as we had doubles several times.  We brought home several crappie for the grease.  We did catch 1 nice 16 inch walleye and Carol lost a VERY nice walleye at the boat. I just couldn’t get the net under that pig. Great day trolling across from Devils Fork. All fish came out of 25 to 30 FOW.  #7 flicker shad black/silver was the most productive lure trolled using 50/75 2 oz snap weight method. 2.1 MPH. Off the water before noon.
