Water level has dropped minimum of 5 feet since last week. I ran all over point to point looking for fish. Only marked one or two. Wind blew steady entire time I was on the lake by 11:00 it was too rough to fish my spots with weekend boat traffic and wind. Water temp was 91 everywhere I went. Walleye seemed to have scattered and are sparse in 15 to 40 FOW. I did mark alot of fish in 60 to 90 FOW in the creek channels. With rising water levels walleye and fish in general seem to bite. Receding water levels ALWAYS seem to screw up walleye IMO. I caught one, 16 inch walleye reeling my jig and worm off the bottom to move to another spot. The only bite i had all day. Released.  The thermocline doesnt seem to be setting up the same way it has in the past, this time of year.
